A novella more than a novel, After Dark brings the reader into the beating heart of Tokyo. Two parallel stories unfold through these pages, both as etheral as the other. While Eri sleeps and sleeps, unable to break free of her slumber, her sister Mari is roaming the streets of Tokyo at night. The narrator-character draws the reader deeper and deeper into the narrative as the mystery unfolds.
