Visiting Jane Austen’s House

If you follow me on social media at all, you may have noticed that I’m a big fan of Jane Austen! Recently, on a short break to Hampshire, I got to tick another Austen experience off my bucket list, and visit the house she lived in in the village of Chawton. The Chawton house was where Austen spent most of the last years of her life, after her father passed away and her brother gave a house in Chawton to her, her sister, mother, and friend.

The White Review Issue 31: Launch Party!

OK, so this post is a couple of days late… sorry! I don’t really have an excuse beyond I’ve been really tired, and the last couple of days couldn’t bring myself to sit down and write after doing the other things I had to do that day. Build a Problem – dodie: Review & Recommend | FIRST IMPRESSIONS

This post has sort of been a long time in the making! I originally pencilled it in my schedule a couple of months back, but then the album got delayed, so it got pushed back further.
