It’s a problem known to all bookworms: the out of control TBR! Today, I wanted to go through some of the methods I use to get my TBR down. I’m not claiming that my TBR is under control at all, but I’m making progress on it! The progress I can make with my physical TBR is limited during lockdown as half of my books are at my dad’s house, and obviously I can’t read or unhaul those. I have made an attempt to delete any that I want to unhaul from my GoodReads TBR, but I haven’t got all the way through doing that yet. When I can go round, I’ll try to take a load of the ones I want to unhaul back to my house, so I can get on with getting rid of them! My aim for this year is to get my owned TBR down to 50 or below, through reading and unhauling. So, here are the methods I’m using to cut down my TBR!Read More »
The months go so fast! Especially February, being the shortest month and all. I can’t believe this is now the 2nd March we’ve been in lockdown. The last year has been so stressful and upsetting for so many people, but I am confident we are now on our way out of the darkness and I hope everyone reading this is coping OK, and if you aren’t, please reach out to someone.
This March also marks a year since I came back to blogging regularly (OK, I posted a little bit in February, but it was a bit half-hearted), which is shocking for me. It really doesn’t seem like a year has passed, and yet suddenly there’s over 200 posts on my blog that were almost all not there a year ago! I’ve definitely noticed in this third lockdown that my reading has slowed down and I’ve been feeling exhausted a lot of the time. I’ve been getting out for regular walks though because I’ve been sure to make that a priority, so I’m happy about that at least. So, that being said, how did I do with my reading in February?Read More »

For once, I don’t feel like the month has flown by. January seems to have lasted forever, anyone else feel the same? The lockdown fatigue hit me hard this month, along with a reading slump. Despite the slump, I have managed to get a fair bit of reading done, mostly towards the end of the month. So, let’s take a look!Read More »

It’s CHRISTMAS! Well, it’s not, but it is December, and that’s the same thing to me! I can’t believe November is over already. This year has absolutely flown by, which is really weird considering everything that happened. November wasn’t my best reading month, but I still got a fair few books read, which I’m happy about. Let’s take a look at how I did!Read More »
