Welcome to Day 9 of my 2020 Book Spotlight Countdown! For more information about this series, please read my introductory post here. Today, I’m celebrating Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith!

Two men meet on a train, and share their burdens. One plans the perfect double murder. The other refuses to participate. But when your travelling companion can’t take no for an answer, the stakes get higher and higher. A noir like no other, Highsmith creates an oppressive world, where the walls are closing in on our protagonist.

If you like crime fiction, in particular Agatha Christie, this crime/murder novel might be the one for you.
